FCCat 4 will take place on May 19th-23rd, 2025, at the Azureva Centre in Ronce-les-Bains, on the Atlantic coast, between La Rochelle and Royan, just the next week after ISGC 2025 in La Rochelle. FCCat is an international congress and the official language is English. Scientific contributions will cover heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, from fundamental research to catalytic processes, without predefined themes, and will include researchers from both academia and industry.

After three decades, in a deep transition period to a new low-carbon economy, ICEC back to Italy to discuss the future of environmental catalysis. The conference sub-title is "Addressing the new challenges", because aims to redefine the fundamental and applied research on environmental catalysis to address the 2050 challenges.

Stimulating closer ties between academia and industry and encouraging young researchers in the field of catalysis are the central concepts of this conference. This conference should greatly contribute to exchanging new ideas and technologies, and promoting developments of new outstanding catalysts and systems under the scope, that catalysis is a highly and eagerly demanded technology in industries and for sustainable society, and drives innovation in many other fields.

The target groups for EuropaCat 2025 are academia and industry focusing on fundamental research, applied research and development within catalysis. Participants from academia include both scientists and students focusing on catalysis, reaction engineering, chemical engineering, material science, analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, photocatalysis, organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, as well as computational chemistry. Industrial participants come from businesses with focus on catalyst development and production, refining and petrochemistry, fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals synthesis, energy conversion including use of renewable resources, car manufacturing (exhaust gas cleaning systems, clean combustion technologies), new materials (organic, inorganic), gas and water cleaning, abatement of emissions from stationary and mobile sources.
