The main objective of this congress is to bring researchers together to discuss the progress of operando methodologies, i.e. characterization of functional materials in their working state.

The conference is organized by the Competence Centre for Catalysis at Chalmers University and will cover all aspects of catalysis within heterogeneous catalysis, homogeneous catalysis and biocatalysis, including thermal catalysis, electrocatalysis and photocatalysis.

Stimulating closer ties between academia and industry and encouraging young researchers in the field of catalysis are the central concepts of this conference. This conference should greatly contribute to exchanging new ideas and technologies, and promoting developments of new outstanding catalysts and systems under the scope, that catalysis is a highly and eagerly demanded technology in industries and for sustainable society, and drives innovation in many other fields. Papers on the following topics are welcome.
